This post is really just to start things off properly for the blog.
Most of you already know this – I have Cancer
More specifically T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma – Kind of a tough one to describe, it’s a bit of a strange one, but that’s not a terrible thing I swear.
I am lucky that my bone marrow is not involved, it increases my chances, my diagnosis can and often does involve bone marrow, which is when the disease becomes a form of leukemia. Realistically, even getting that far into describing my diagnosis is something that I don’t really want to do.
But when it comes down to it, survival after remission rates are high, and I have a reliable treatment protocol, I’ll be alright.
That’s kind of as far as I’ll get into it since I wouldn’t want to give you any numbers, figures or pieces of information that do not reflect the truth.
I’ll be here in the hospital for a bit longer dealing with it though, so I figure I would exercise my writing while I have the time
